# Troubleshoot Raley Favourites

> Symptoms, likely causes, and fixes for common Raley Favourites for Jira problems: missing Toggle favourite entry, missing Favourites view, and starred work items not appearing.

## Toggle favourite missing

**Symptom:** you open the more actions menu (**...**) on a work item and there is no **Toggle favourite** entry.

**Likely cause:** the app is not installed on this site, or it is installed but disabled.

**Fix:**

1. Ask a site admin to check **Settings** > **Apps** > **Manage apps** and confirm Raley Favourites for Jira is installed and enabled.
2. Not installed? Follow [Install your app](/apps/Get-started-with-RaleyApps#install-your-app).
3. Reload the work item after the app is enabled and check the menu again.

## Favourites view missing

**Symptom:** the project sidebar's **Apps** section has no **Favourites** entry under **Your apps**.

**Likely cause:** same as above, the app is not installed or not enabled; the sidebar entry ships with the app.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm install state under **Settings** > **Apps** > **Manage apps**, as above.
2. Confirm you are looking inside a project: the list lives in the project sidebar, not on the Jira home screen.

## Starred work item not in the list

**Symptom:** you selected **Toggle favourite** on a work item, but the favourites list does not show it.

**Likely cause:** the star was toggled twice (the same action adds and removes), or the list is filtered by a search term.

**Fix:**

1. Clear the inline search in the favourites list, then look again.
2. Open the work item and select **Toggle favourite** once more, then recheck the list.
3. Still missing? Contact us via the [support page](/support).

## When you contact support

Include these 3 things so the first reply can be a fix:

1. Your site URL and the project where it happens.
2. The work item key you starred.
3. A screenshot of the more actions menu or the favourites list, whichever looks wrong.
