Overview
Jira Cloud includes a built-in notification system. Raley Emails Notifications is a separate add-on that extends and replaces it for teams that need more control over email content, recipients, and delivery. The two systems can run simultaneously without conflict — Raley does not modify your Jira Notification Scheme.Comparison

Key Differences
Jira Cloud notifications are good for standard, team-internal alerts where the default Jira email template is sufficient. Raley Emails Notifications is the right choice when you need:- Branded, customer-facing emails with your company’s logo and styling
- Emails that include issue attachments, PDF exports, or custom field data
- Sending to recipients outside your Jira instance
- Digest summaries instead of individual per-event emails
