Raley Favourites for Jira gives you a personal favourites list inside Jira. You star the work items (issues) you keep coming back to, and the app collects them into one list in your project sidebar, with inline search. New here? Star your first work item in about 5 minutes.

What it does

The app does 2 things, on purpose:

Who it is for

The Marketplace listing describes the core case as a “list of favourites issues which you cannot describe with a JQL, but need to access from time to time”. If you keep re-finding the same handful of work items through search, boards, or browser history, this app replaces that habit with one click.

How it handles your data

Raley Favourites runs on Atlassian Forge. It declares 3 permissions, the smallest footprint of the 5 Raley apps, and stores only the numeric IDs of the work items you star, in Atlassian’s app storage. No work item data leaves the Atlassian platform.

What it is not

  • Not a shared or team list. The list you build is your own.
  • Not a reporting or filter tool. For lists you can describe with a query, use a saved JQL filter; the concepts page on Jira and JSM primitives explains JQL.
  • Not a watch or notification feature. Starring does not modify the work item, so it cannot add you as a watcher, and nothing in the published feature set sends notifications.

Pricing and trial

Raley Favourites is paid via Atlassian. Current tiers and the free trial live on the Marketplace listing, and Trials, licensing, and billing explains how trials and billing behave for every Raley app.
